Van den Hul The Teatrack Hybrid loudspeaker cable per metre
The Van den Hul The Teatrack Hybrid is a flat loudspeaker cable with four conductors, available by the metre. Each core consists of 147 pure, silver-plated OFC wires (2.96 mm², AWG 12.5, 0.58 ohm per 100 metres) and is covered with a layer of Linear Structured Carbon® (hybrid technology). The cream-coloured Hulliflex 5 jacket protects the cable optimally; outer dimensions 25.5 mm wide and 6.0 mm thick. Polarity is easy to determine because the four conductors have different insulator shapes.
Full description
The four leads each consist of 147 pure, dense, silver-plated, high-purity oxygen-free copper (OFC) wires with an effective cross-section of 2.96 mm², corresponding to AWG 12.5, and a resistance of 0.58 ohms per 100 metres.
Each conductor is covered with a layer containing our Linear Structured Carbon®; this combination of metal and carbon (hybrid technology) has excellent properties in terms of resolution and neutrality.
The cream-coloured cable jacket is made of our HULLIFLEX® 5, a material with excellent mechanical, chemical and environmental properties, giving the cable optimal protection.
The outer dimensions of the TEATRACK HYBRID are: 25.5 mm wide and 6.0 mm thick.
Polarity identification is easy: the four conductors have different insulator shapes. In addition, one set has two notches and the other set only one notch and a flat surface on the other side with printing. Printing every 25 cm (10″) makes it easy to cut lengths. It is advisable to use the two inner conductors as the cold (-) leads and the two outer conductors as the hot (+) leads.
