Rega RB Titanium tonearm
The Rega RB Titanium is a tonearm with a one-piece titanium vertical bearing housing and a titanium vertical shaft. The counterweight with a tungsten shaft and the bearings Rega selected most carefully ensure almost frictionless movement with no measurable play. The arm is hand-built in England.
Full description
The RB Titanium is designed with as few mechanical connections as possible and with the stiffest materials at every critical point. The arm moves horizontally and vertically with virtually no friction and no measurable play in the bearings. This is essential, because the stylus must follow detail in the groove that measures only a few microns.
New are the one-piece titanium vertical bearing housing and the titanium vertical axle. The counterweight and its shaft are made of tungsten, and the arm tube is of hand-polished aluminium with a low mass. Each arm receives Rega’s most carefully selected bearings, individually chosen to fit exactly on the matching axle. The phono cable is designed by Rega, has low capacitance and is finished with Neutrik Profi RCA plugs. Designed and hand-built in England.
