Yamaha RX-V6A AV Receiver
Get more out of your home entertainment. With crystal-clear images and immersive sound, the Yamaha RX-V6A AV receiver makes every moment feel real. Unrivalled sound with the Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer, which puts you at the centre of the action by placing sounds at various points in your room, including from above.
Dolby Atmos® with Height Virtualizer
For users who do not have ceiling or upward-firing speakers in their system, Dolby Atmos with Height Virtualization Technology simulates the Atmos experience with forward-facing drivers. Configure up to five speakers to mimic the effect of two ceiling speakers, or use all seven channels to simulate the powerful effect of four overhead speakers.
Feel every dimension with Dolby Atmos. Enjoy a 5.1 surround sound system and two additional overhead speakers or two Dolby Atmos height speakers for dramatic sound effects from above that completely immerse you – including the Dolby Surround upmixer for older content.
Wireless rear speakers
Combine this AV receiver with the MusicCast 50 or MusicCast 20 wireless streaming speaker and enjoy the stunning convenience of a home cinema with wireless surround sound. What's more, you get sensational, realistic sound from a tidy installation without lots of cables. Effortlessly transform your living room into a dedicated entertainment environment where you can become completely immersed in films and music.
Phono
This AV receiver has a dedicated phono input to which you can connect a turntable so that you can also enjoy your vinyl collection.
With cinema DSP 3D, you have the extensive sound-field data of world-famous concert halls and music clubs at your disposal to reproduce the acoustics of a large theatre within the walls of your home.
Music enhancer restores compressed audio so that it sounds the way it was meant to be heard. The fast-response amplifier responds to rapid changes in input level for accurate and stable signal transfer.
DTS:X®
Immersive DTS:X audio formatting places sound where it would naturally occur in a room, giving you lifelike, multidimensional audio. The integrated DTS Neural:X™ Spatial Remapping Engine makes all your favourite films more immersive and realistic.
YPAO™R.S.C/Multi-Point
YPAO (Yamaha Parametric room Acoustic Optimizer) analyses the acoustics and your system and adjusts the various audio parameters for the best sound in your room. Simply place the supplied microphone at your listening position and switch on YPAO. The system is then automatically calibrated for optimal home cinema performance.
