Meze Audio 99 Classic Walnut headphones
One-of-a-kind headphones
Like fingerprints, wood grain is equally unique, making every pair of Meze headphones one of a kind. You will love how they feel in your hands. Solidly built and precisely assembled. The ear cups are made of satin-finished wood grain. Put them on, lean back and enjoy your favourite sound of plucked strings, cheerful grooves or pounding beats while still looking stylish.
Premium sound designed for those in the know
We take headphone design to a new level by combining modern with handcrafted design, using natural materials and focusing on delivering the best premium sound. The aim is to change the perception of headphones as technical devices or cheap plastic accessories and to create a mature product to fall in love with.
Wood technology
Choosing wood is inherently difficult. The rich colours of walnut require the use of air drying, a long and expensive procedure. The process of shaping just one pair of ear cups takes up to 8 hours. The whole process of sanding, lacquering and finishing takes 45 days. The wooden components are carefully inspected, and no imperfections may occur for them to reach final assembly.
